“ From the outside, Sushi Island seems pretty unassuming, but the experience inside is cozy, friendly, and warm. The food is excellent and my entire family really enjoyed everything we ordered. This restaurant offers both delicious sushi and soup dishes, making it a rare find among Japanese restaurants (at least here in Phoenix). Being a smaller restaurant, it took a bit for the sushi to get out, but it was worth the wait as quality takes time. The sushi tasted fresh and delicious and the tempura that comes with it was well-made and a surprise addition given the already reasonable prices. The kids devoured their soups! We really appreciate that it is a small locally owned establishment that has excellent quality. We'll definitely be coming back! ”
